NBR's Top 10 has only missed six BP winners since the 70s: The Deer Hunter, Amadeus, Platoon, Rain Man, A Beautiful Mind, and Return of the King. This doesn't bode well for Three Billboards at all, especially when it wasn't nominated for Film at the Spirits and Gothams.

The most surprising NBR snub: Three billboards

The most surprising top10: Logan, over Wonder Woman

The most benefited from this awards: The Post

The most damaged: Shape of Water

The NBR's weird late December nominee: Phantom Thread

A disturbing question: why there's no breakthrough performance female?

Yeah it's strange. There were Vicky Krieps, Brooklynn Prince, Dafne Keen, Florence Pugh all in the movies they loved.

Why?

Because Logan was released at the beginning of the year, Wonder Woman had the crown for most loved SH movie of the year... And because they even gave Pat Jenkins and Gal Gadot a special award for WW. WB is seriously campaigning for WW
