I legitimately don't understand how fans can be so angry at a Star Wars movie.

If it's a series I like, I'd be grateful for any sequel that comes my way.

That assumes you're dealing with people who apply logic to their daily lives

17 is certainly an interesting #.

I feel that's just my opinion on all this, it's interesting, but I have no idea what it means.

I believe 17.5m would be a better drop than RO from its Tuesday, which compensates for TLJ having a higher Tuesday drop.

So the situation is still at "meh" levels?

Rogue one

Days:

4: 17.6m

5: 17.6m

6: 14.97

TLJ

Days

4: 21.556m

5: 20.25m

6: 17.5m

rogue one days has a percentage of TLJ

4: 81.6%

5: 87%

6: 85.5%

Hard to conclude anything in term of holding better or worst than Rogue One at this point, pretty much "in line with RO hold has of now" status it seem.

R1 had a 14.9% drop on its first Wed.  This would be approx 13.6% drop

(crumbling )

So what youre saying is that youre ok with a snyder directed sequel to zootropolis wherein the cute fox and the cute Bunny get abused in the jail shower in an hard, R-rated way.. 😊

BTW, I now hope I have lived long enough to see the phrase/headline "700m flop".

I think I'd be ready for The Rapture then. ;)

Alternatively, I can also hope to think I've lived long enough to see the following headline:  "<Film> finishes at 675m domestically, time for Disney to panic?  And is a rethink in order?"

Because that would be so Peak 2017* as to make me want to *kisses fingers* in gratitude.

* Yes, I know that said headline wouldn't be until 2018.  Lemme dream a little, eh? :)
