That’s quite good considering how unpopular DC movie became over the year there and how low the initial numbers were yesterday . Also it’s opening against MPR which it  is swiftly beating by the way. Should finish higher than JL which means $15M+

In France? The DCEU's performance has been very stable, all around $15-20M. And it looks like Aquaman will finish there too.

 

In general it looks like Aquaman is doing very well in Asia (except SK) and close to other DCEU movies in the rest of the world (Suicide Squad over-performed in a few countries). Hopefully Deadline will have an international update before Monday.

I know but considering that BvS and SS did $20M+ If the franchise was better received overall that’s where Wonder Woman and Aquaman would have finished as well. Aquaman will leg it out to a nice $15M but if the franchise had a better perception it would have opened much bigger. But hey bright times are ahead  anyway.

Aquaman only had a -8% drop from OD the other two films dropped -25% in South Korea. 

 

Also good pre sales for Friday so Aquaman is actually doing rather well in South Korea.

With MP starting off worse then expected i think 300m Domestic happens for Aquaman, unless it gets terrible WOM.

I think the WOM on this will be great. If it didn't have so much competition I would say 300m was a shoo in, but right now I'm going to stick with $270 or thereabouts. MPR is the big wild card. I don't know a single person under 30 who cares about the film at all, but I always assumed the baby boomers would turn out in droves. They sure didn't yesterday.

MPR is already below expectations for Wed numbers and even if MPR does well i still think it can do 300m domestic.
