rockNrollaDIM
Well I just watched the one season of Commander in Chief about the first female president, now this new HBO show "Veep" is coming out starring Julia Louis Dreyfus as the first woman Vice President. Major difference is Commander in Chief was a drama; Veep is black comedy. It looks really funny, got an "In the Loop" vibe.... I'll definitely be watching. Here's the trailer:

rockNrollaDIM
Ah, now this makes sense... Apparently the director of "In The Loop" is also writer/director/producer for Veep. Very nice.

Gopher
Very funny first episode. I'm looking forward to where this goes (I imagine it only gets better from here).
rockNrollaDIM
Watched the whole episode with my mom today- she's a huge Seinfeld and New Christine fan- she seemed to enjoy it but I think much of the quickness and political nature of the humor went over her head. Hope that doesn't alienate general audiences because I want this to succeed. Can you say Emmy for JLD?
