I don't know, but the director of Tron 2 and Oblivion wasn't who I was expecting, that is for sure.

Tom no doubt liked working with him on Oblivion. He'll definitely deliver on the visuals and soundtrack which, lets face it, will be the main draw besides Tom Cruise reprising his role

Paramount deserves to die if this is what they're producing. I thought the new guy was smarter and canceled this. I guess they have a death wish.

Joseph Kosinki is such a vapid filmmaker. His films have no heart or soul in them, they're only there to look pretty. Yep, he indeed is the perfect choice for a project as vapid and pointless as Top Gun 2.
