The spectre of militaty action against the Russians is no longer a matter of fantasy. That is the problem with makiing a "feel ggod" action film based on current events, the events might make the subject all to real for the kind of bubble gum film Top GUn is.

I like how the arrogance of notoriety there of the TOP GUN iconography and music and Cruise doesn't even need to list the title of the movie in that spot -- people should know what it is.  Yeah, I now expect another big spot at the Superbowl.  And barring some new hyper-5-times-deadly variant, no, this thing ain't moving anymore.  It's May or bust!

The promo budget for this movie must be insane. Already did the Super Bowl thing two years ago and now a new spot this year is more than likely. I don't know how they'll recover all the spent money. This needs to do great
