Very good reactions, only a few mixed, which Is surprising considering the shadow of The Shining surround it.

It won’t be a consensus but i think the reviews will be very good (+80% with an average above 7.0), let’s hope this can help the box office, hype seems nonexistent.

Pet Sematary first reactions were mostly positive as well

Pet Sematary premiere was on SXSW, only a few critics see and critics inclined to like it. But still it finish with a decent enough score .

Doctor Sleep otherwise seems to have reactions from a more variable type of critics.

If you kiddos haven't seen The Haunting of Hill House, you need to watch it. It's a 10-episode long cinematic masterpiece.

it's fine. masterpiece is wild when it's not even the best adaptation of that story.

WB and A24 have not only revived the horror genre but brought it to whole new levels!!

While id argue the greatest period of horror cinema was probably in the mid 70s to early 80s, the horror genre right now is definetly in a very wealthy place. But WB and A24 are not the only ones to thank for that, across studio boards and also from asian and european cinema theres a stream of quality horror movies coming out for years now.

This! It’s also easily Flanagans best work, his only film I like is Hush.

Let's give Blumhouse their due here too, but these 3 are the only ones 😫

Absolutely Yes!

Blumhouse brought back found footage for a while in a huge franchise (Paranormal Activity), brought back Shyamalan (Visit, Split, Glass), Michael Myers (Halloween), launched the Insidious and The Purge franchises and introduced Jordan Peele (Get Out, Us).
