J2 has dropped better than or on par with (5th weekend) NATM in every weekend it has been in theaters so far. So a drop to similar to NATM on it's 7th weekend gets J2 to 10.78 million. This looks like the ceiling atm as 10.78 million is also exactly the same percentage bump J2 enjoyed over NATM in the last weekend. I'm not sure that J2 will be able to repeat that gigantic bump this weekend with Superbowl taking a substantial chunk out of Sunday's business. So (9.5-10) million sounds about right. The weekend haul needs to be closer to 9.95 million to keep the pace with NATM tho.

this weekend last year Sing and La La Land had the best drops with 36% and 40% respectively. 35-40% drop for J2 (16.14m last weekend) seems like a safe projection for 9.7-10.5m. Really hope it stays at double digits.

 

Probably the best hold will go to TGS. 20-25% down (9.55m last weekend) gives 7.2-7.6m.
