I'm about done with this year and have seen nearly every film on this list more than once. It's not changing at this point and I know I did this before but now I'll actually put them in order starting with honorable mentions.

I saw around 99 films in 2017 (I wouldn't consider Paddington 2 2017 - although I know it is being considered that by posters here) and these were my favorites and actually ranked.

Yeah man, a lot of quality films. As far as foreign horrors/thrillers, Raw got all the attention but I thought Thelma was better in every aspect. It's the type of film that America will probably remake a few years down the line like Let The Right One In. It also isn't afraid to go to some dark places. 

I feel like it's one that many overlooked due to being Norweigen but the RT score is like 92%.

And the score is incredible. Has shades of synthwave in it but still very emotional.
