Where do you expect it to finish?

I really don't have any idea. It's Disney/Marvel, it has an almost all African-American cast, which makes it a nonesuch in my book. I have many, many African-American friends on FB, more than a thousand, and it seems like every one has seen it already and is hyped by it. But obviously a whole lot of others are seeing it too, like myself.

I just don't know. What about you?

When IW is released, the top 10 OW will have 6 movies belonging to Marvel. For a franchise than began 10 years ago that is an incredible achievement never to probably be seen in our lifetimes by any other studio or franchise. This is the reward you get for properly planning out your movies in a franchise universe making your characters relatable and likable across 18+ movies.

:( J-Law rules man.

Pratt on the other hand...

Jennifer Lawrence is a fine actor who has for some reason made it her mission to be the most annoying personality on press tours/award circuits possible. yes, we get it, you like pizza, har har har. I like celebrities because they AREN'T like me, frankly. Chris Pratt is both annoying in real life and annoying as hell as an actor. Good as Star Lord, though.

I'm expecting a multi around 2.85x, so with this 3 day, it should easily pass TDK

Static Shock makes more sense and its and earth based hero existing in a real city. It can also be different to BP in that its a young black kid in society facing some the same problems existing in the real world today. Green Lantern has too much bad blood already from its previous movie and even though that doesn't mean they should give up with the character entirely they can give other characters a chance to shine on the big screen. Static Shock is the perfect response movie for WB/DC to get rolling to capitalize on the representation needed in movies which BP has continued being the first big budget black led / black directed comic book movie in hollywood similar to the same representation women got with WW last year.
