People like you said same when I said this would do 200+ on OW and 600+ total domestic.

Now all have changed the tune...band wagoners.

No, I was on the Black Panther is going to be giant from the day it was announced and was pushing $185m+ months before it opened.  Don't lump me in with all of your perceived enemies.

Isn't that also the theater that accidentally put on Fifty Shades Freed instead of Black Panther last Thursday and the entire crowd freaked?

I can't believe Burbank. How many theaters combined?

But yeah Atlanta was the hot spot this weekend. But look at NYC. They were not playing any games out there. Thought I would see Oakland on there and not San Francisco.

LOL.

A Falcon or War Machine solo movie will be lucky to make half what BP is making.

This movie has a distinct voice. A voice that has been waiting in duress for centuries to cry out.

No one is buying out theaters or busing hundreds of children to see a Falcon movie.

No offense Falcon fans. :sparta:

Especially after blowing a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl

Seeing a simple weekday matinee here is usually a disaster. The idea of going there this weekend gives me mild anxiety.

Isn't that the theater with the small hallways or something? I know a poster here described it like that. Was that you?

Edit Never Mind.  I'm thinking of Regal Union Square.  You're talking about UA Court Street although its listed here as Regal.

San Fran Metreon is the 2nd biggest IMAX in the country. Enormous screen. Would guess it was jam-packed this past weekend and that will continue in the days ahead.

What other characters beside BP?

Selling the audiences on another version of Spider-Man making selling Homecoming to audiences an easier task.

And it seems like Civil War will be a major jumping off point for Ant-Man and the Wasp too. Civil War has really influenced the rest of the MCU much more than Ultron did.

The hallways are small, although that was always a bigger issue for me at Union Square. You have to take three or four escalators up, the screens suck, always a few assholes in the theater, the staff is terrible.

I saw it at Edwards Ontario it was busy but not doing gangbusters. The AMC Ontario Mills just went to reserved seating so its really nice. I didn't see many sell outs for Southern Cal. But I'm happy to see some theaters in the top 20.
