It’s looking more and more likely that BP will beat Avengers Adjusted and be the largest Comic book movie of all time Adjusted.

Saying that again, bigger than Avengers, The Dark Knight, Spider-Man or the original Batman and Superman movies.

Disney is projecting -33.7% drop for Sunday. Official Saturday number is $47.6 million.

Deadpool had a -34.3%, an "R" rated movie at the same time.

The hell BP will have something similar.....

Disney and their under predicting business practice.

I guess the headlines to read $400 million in 10 days it's good anyway.

And to think a year ago, you would have been called crazy if you made the prediction that Black Panther would gross over 600m domestically. Whoa!

LOL, no. Annihilation wasn't groundbreaking at all. Quite predictable if you've seen movies it smushed together. It won't be a loss if it gets annihilated next week.

Yeah, hard to call it a good film when it won't even make $30M domestic.  If it were any good, it'd be on its way to $100M

That person would not have been called crazy. More like "you're a fucking deranged lunatic saying saying BP would gross $600 million"

Nah, boxoffice and quality don't always go hand in hand as you know. I get sarcasm but I really think that critics fanboyed with Annihilation cause they want Garland to succeed.
