I will say all of you are so good - I have a hard time ranking more than a few in a "real" order...I'm considering actually doing this ranking, but man, it's hard...it's almost easier for me to make separate categories of films 1st and then intersperse them (but then how do you decide if Galaxy Quest or Scream or The Lion King are actually "better" when they are totally different movies - although on Galaxy Quest - that's another amazing comedy that holds up and might be better than all the source material it's based on:)...

well the point structure solves this partly I hope. Don't need to bother ranking anything in the 51-75 range, for example, since each of those movies is worth 2 points.

that's not necessarily true, since any ties will be decided by the higher ranking movies. doesn't give them any more points but it does matter.

I'm struggling with deciding what should even be #3...it's like I have a huge drop-off and I'm struggling to say "can this really be #3?"...And then I'm deciding, can I make a movie #3 if I haven't rewatched it in awhile or never rewatched it...it's overthinking this, I know:)...

I'd be better off making 10 sets of #91-100 movies and having my #1 and #2:)...less pressure at the top:)...

Oh, I do know my list will NEVER have Gone with the Wind though - I watched this in college the same week as Casablanca (which will make my list) and I literally said to my future spouse, "How on Earth does anyone like this?  It''s awful and both leads are SO annoying - I hope somehow they end up dead/imprisoned/somewhere not in the movie by the end," and then the movie just kept going, and going, and going...now maybe I overjudged it b/c of Casablanca's quality, but I have never brought myself to rewatch it after that experience...

By the Way, anonye not having Starship Troopers on his or hers list will be eaten alive. And mabye their brains will be sucked out.

Starship Troopers didn't even make my top 25 of 1997...

go with what your heart says twomisfits, there is no pressure except the pressure that you're creating. This is meant to be fun!
