See, now this one (not the film with Melissa McCarthy) really sounds like something that will make Haddish play a variation of her Girls' Trip character, which, in the hands of a director as 'subtle' as Perry, will be an insufferable harpy.

After watching the trailer, I think I'm rooting for this to be a hit. It doesn't look as bad as some of the Madea films I've seen.

I love how the same white dress she wore to the Girls Trip premiere, and on SNL, and at the Oscars is in this movie. Talk about commitment to a running gag. 😂

And yes...Haddish is truly playing her Girls Trip character again.

I liked that character, but I would not be surprised if audiences' patience was tested by another two hours of her loudmouth harpy.
