Dogpiling @IronJimbo isn't a good look when he already confessed to an incredibly trivial mistake.

Its like that boy who cried wolf. He has been sniding and shitting on BP any opportunity he gets whether in an obvious or sarcastic way so excuse people if they don’t believe his ‘mistake’ this time.

Yea, that’s the only thing he’s done that would warrant such a reaction:redcapes:

Y'all sniping at him has been more distracting than any absurdities he's posted lately. Plus BP hardly needs any defending.

That good or bad?

Being spring break it is hard to tell (Monday was stronger than usual)

In those special case, it become more what the other in the same situation did (specially when all the numbers are out):

With every entry hold compared to each other (and it is usually look good to take the previous hold into context to judge the new one:

+24% seem standard, not particularly good or bad, Heist did +43%, Gringo +33%, Annihiliation +24%, Panthers +26%

If Black Panther is #1 this weekend, it will be the first movie to be #1 at the box office for 5 consecutive weekends since Avatar in 2009 (with 7 consecutive #1 weekends). Before that it was The Sixth Sense in 1999 (5 consecutive #1 weekends).

Basically, only two films have been #1 for 5+ consecutive weekends since 1999 - and Black Panther could be the third this weekend. Very impressive if it manages this feat.

Peace,

Mike

WIT:

2.3M (-40%)

2.3M (-)

4.6M (+100%)

7.4M (+60%)
5.2M (-30%)

17.2M Weekend, 48% drop

I might be lowballing Friday and Saturday by about 5-10%, but I don't think this is unreasonable given how weak WOM seems to be. It's looking at a drop in the mid to high-40s.

Panther:

3.8M (-25%)

3.6M (-5%)

7.6M (+110%)

12.9M (+70%)

9M (-30%)
29.5M Weekend, 28% drop

30M is going to be TIGHT
