We are really getting into the scary end of the draw here. in 8th place we have @Wrath, a player who is almost always there or there abouts and well... he is coming into this there or there abouts. Wrath leads fancyarcher by 43k which means he will near a mere 1.2M or so to take the provisional lead. Which is a bit like telling a decathlete he just needs to run a 10.2second 100M. Simples...

I know in my head that the scoring is always going to be close at the end, but as well as I know that, my gut is always, always surprised at just HOW close the scoring always ends up being. Its really quite astonishing.

 

Edit - When people joke during the preseason about how important 10k points will be at the end (despite final scores in the 4-5M range), its always amazing how it turns out they're not joking.

He is always near the top after the weeklies, yet preseasons confound him time and time again. He has finished 10th once, 8th twice, 5th twice, Can he finally make it onto the podium?

 

He has a lead of nearly 400k over wrath, but he knows full well that with one false Action, Points can be lost. But will there be a film that will cost him everything, or has he done enough to take the lead? He needs about 1,15M to do it.

I hold in my hands, the score of the final player. @Infernus, After seeing wrathofhan and Sheikh battle it out during the weeklies, he was happy to it in 3rd and bide his time. Then preseason hit, he wins Part F, comes 2nd in Part C, it has been a solid and strong march to the top and now there is just one last hurdle to cross. 

 

As we have seen before, his lead of 67,500 points is nothing at this stage. Gaps of 4-500k have been opened and closed in an instant. The scores we have seen this summer range from a score that would see him win the whole thing by over 350,000 points, to plummeting down into 12th place. So much can happen, but the question is what did happen?

 

1,145,000. That is the magic number. Above that, the victory goes to Infernus, below and it is Wrath's.

 

So onto the result...
