Weekend Box Office: Actuals (Page 55): BP $26.6M TR $23.7M ICOI $17.1M AWIT $16.3M LS $11.8M, PR crosses $100M, Jumanji crosses $400M

Saturday and Sunday are looking a LOT lighter for ICOI at my theater outside of a group buyout on Sunday. I don't know how group sales are spread across the country, but if my theater is any indication, it'll be in for a pretty bad drop tomorrow. Maybe something like this will happen:

9M

6.7M (-20%)

5.4M (-20%)

21.1M Weekend

That's still a fucking insane weekend though

Should be a tight three-way race for #1 this weekend, a lot healthier of a top 5 than initially expected, Paul may be hurt next weekend as a result of I Can Only Imagine breaking out.

Spoiler
  1. Black Panther: $29 million ($607 million)
  2. I Can Only Imagine: $27 million
  3. Tomb Raider: $26 million
  4. Love, Simon: $17.5 million
  5. A Wrinkle in Time: $16 million ($60 million)

I Can Only Imagine: Slambros' Revenge

Honestly, ICOI number 1 for the weekend, while not as insane as a Samson breakout over BP would be, would be massively impressive on its own right.

Would be set to go for over 100m, which is a huge breakout for a faith film.

However, I’m wondering how big it’ll be this weekend relative to presales.  Especially since Paul and GDND3 will hurt its legs.

Sony has zero confidence in Paul as evident by the TC being slashed in half, and GND3 is going to bomb hard (it's sold next to nothing at my theater, which should tell you enough)

GNOMES RUNTIME :hahaha::hahaha::hahaha:

(Also, Paul's attachments are probably...I dunno, Sequelizer and Sicario? I don't think Gnomes will have anything attached to it.)

At least Paramount will get a lot of showtimes in  Gnomes definitely has nothing attached because Paramount always puts their attachments in the projectionist notes.

If anything is attached to Paul, it'll be the animated movies. Sicario/Venom/Sequelizer aren't going for the same audience at all.

What are you talking about, there is no Lionsgate movie opening... right? Isn't Tomb Raider WB/MGM and Love Simon Fox?
