If it has a nice drop or finds some legs it should be at $50m+ with weekend estimates.

That's a pretty small increase for Pacific Rim. It'll probably decrease the same amount it increased yesterday, but if it drops in the high 30s (or worse: 40s), it might be coming in for a 65% drop

A 60% drop was always expected. A frontloaded film where the folks who wanted to see it, have.

Black Panther median Tuesday increase on weeks without a holiday monday is 28.8, which would give 2.34 today, so I’m looking at above 2.35 or so as better than expected and below 2.3 as worse than expected.

8.6M Weekend, 69% drop

 

Keep in mind everything would have to go against it for a drop this big, but it's not impossible when RPO is direct competition.

BOOM, great Tuesday number. Over 35% increase is the best Tuesday increase of its run so far, and down a mere 13% week to week.

Things to note about this weekends gross, RPO actually releases tonight at 7 with Thursday being the first full day of release. Numbers might be pretty odd the next few days.
