Even if AIW was not releasing next weekend it would have made sense for Rampage to release a week sooner like it did. Reduces the gap between Rampage and RPO but this weekend doesn't look so easy.

Fantastic holds for AQP and BP.

Blockers is stabilizing, good drop this weekend.

Shumer is a mini-McCarthy. Has definitely some fandom and as long as they keep all her movies cheap (no Ghostbusters) she won't be a flop.

Good drop for Rampage all things considered. Around 50% is better than it could ask for.

Not Bad for ST2, considering it's been 17 years.  IFP I guess is doing fine for a comedy but Amy hasn't proven to be a consistent draw just yet.   Wow @ BP hold again, 700 is very much on the table.  AQP continues to make noise, lol.  100 isn't off the table for RAM but it's dropping fast.

Very solid weekend. While not the same the weekend before obliteration that has happened in late April is actually good this year....

3 horror films in the past year over 150m... its crazy what happens when the genre actually gives good, broad playing  films.

Going to be very hard for Disney to get to $700m at this point.  They are going to get wiped out this week since they are near the bottom of the Top 10 and have a new movie coming in.

The original Super Troopers was apparently mandatory viewing among college groups in the early 00's, so the nostalgic pull among that particular age demo was very strong. And the RT for the first is about the same for this new one, so that didn't affect any.

That's what I was thinking as well. I'm assuming the theatre count loss for Black Panther next weekend will be one of its largest so far.

Fantastic for BP and with double feature next week with AIW, 700M is back on the table.

Are double features confirmed, or just something that you are guessing will be the case?

Peace,

Mike
