LOL. Stop living in the past decade, Horror movies are respectable by critics now, and we usually get more well received Horror movies in a year than trashed ones.

Even now, how many third films in a series in this genre can get a fresh rating? Let alone in a spinoff series.

The Conjuring 2 was at a 65% at 52 reviews so it is possible although the current MetaCritic score isn't the best sign (thought it's gone up there as well).

The Warrens bring the evil doll back to their artifacts room in their home, and Annabelle creates havoc by creating stirring up a lot of evil stuff in the room, and well, it’s Judy’s turn to cry in this threequel. She’s the Warren’s 10-year old daughter who Annabelle torments. Annabelle Comes Home is 66% fresh

You act like the reviews are bad. Which they aren't even the consensus is positive for it.

Not as scary is disappointing to hear, though this is the 3rd Annabelle spin-off alone so I guess there aren't that many genuine scares left to be had. They've got to start doing some fresh Conjuring universe entries.
