Taylor
Bumped up two days to Wednesday, June 26. https://deadline.com/2019/05/space-jam-2-release-date-godzilla-vs-kong-annabelle-sequel-warner-bros-1202562428/ Even closer to Child's Play. JB33
I guess this move was to separate it more, even if a tiny bit, from Midsommar. But then that just moves it that much closer to Child's Play. I love horror but Summer 2019 is far too congested with horror movies. I think, even with It: Chapter 2 there, September could handle another one. October could also use one during the 2nd weekend (11th). As it is, October only has two horror movies slated at the moment (Countdown from STXfilms, and an Untitled Aviron horror, both on the 25th). The Horror of Lucas Films
Loved it! My fave TCU poster.
JB33
Surprised the new poster didn't come with another trailer. Then again, The Nun only got one trailer so maybe it's the same for this one.
DAJK
That's a DUMB poster imo, at least for a movie like this. Belongs with something like Child's Play, or something that is more tongue-in-cheek than The Conjuring.
EliasChristensen
I count 7 new villians in the background. 7 new movies confirmed.

Lucas
I'm not sure if this is just me being blind or is Ed not on the poster but Lorraine is?
Boxofficerules
The Conjuring universe needs to step up its game. The last two movies where bland and forgettable (The Nun was pretty poor). They need to push themselves a bit movies, offer a bit more than what they’re giving, they’re starting to feel too safe.

Although, I'm not sure if it is the smartest strategy this time, TN had people on board on the moment it was announced, releasing only one teaser was genial and helped to increase the thirsty even more. While for Annabelle: Comes Home they're on the same situation of Annabelle: Creation, coming from a movie that hurt the brand (The Nun), and they need to convince people again. So, they should've been doing more marketing for it than for TN. I'm also scared that we didn't get any social comments yet, Annabelle: Creation had reviews out 2 months before the release. That's the biggest problem in doing an Universe, no matter how hard you try, your movies will looks like the same and extremely formulaic, just look at these identical MCU/DCU movies to get my point. We can only hope them to be safe good (Annabelle: Creation), instead of safe boring (Annabelle 1), or a complete mess (The Nun).
