The worldwide number is absolutely bonkers! With China+Russia it could have opened to 800-850!

Thats more than most SH movie and about the same as the biggest SH movie from last  year like WW/Guardians/Thor in a single weekend

They are still going with a relatively big 26.5% Sun drop. If it falls 20.5% instead, then ow increases to 255.

Yup, I think that is the number we get for tomorrow's actual.

I'm right here and I'm fine lol, it's actually landed within 5% of my $240m prediction.

It's too bad a better movie didn't claim the record. AIW is an overlong and mediocre film.

Thank goodness for the modern suburban cineplex with so many screens that allowed me to see AIW yesterday afternoon, grab some dinner at a restaurant that shares the same parking lot and then head back to the cinema to see a better film for a nightcap.

Calm down a little bit, it’s $200-300m less than that. $200m isn’t “about the same as”.

Critical reception, yes Civil War’s is better. Civil War also has an A cinemascore. Honestly shocked as to why some here think it’ll be a leggy film.

Most casuals watched CW purely out of obligation.

IW is a different beast all together.

250-255 is 6.3-6.4x the previews.  AOU was 6.9x and TA was 11.1x. I was adamant it would go below 6x but stayed closer to AOU's 6.9x than expected.
