Tully is also a much more serious movie than the trailers are suggesting. Apparently the trailers are selling it way too lightly, and it's a drama with some comedic lines.

Young Adult 2.0, I'm sold.

I think IW Saturday may reach a crazy amount like 50 million.

50M Sat is not that crazy a number. If IW only managed a +100% for Friday, it would need to jump around 61% on Sat, that is well within the range of what Ultron/IM3/CW/GOTG2 did.

There are six people total so far at this showing of Tully which starts in a few minutes. I am the youngest person here by at least 20 years and I’m a Gen Xer.

Well its 1pm on a Friday

I think BOP is lowballing the June 29 releases a bit, especially Sicario. I have a hard time seeing it decrease from the first. Uncle Drew can probably be bumped up about 7-8M for the OW and 10M for the final total.

The audience scores have changed quite a bit the past couple of hours :jeb!:

Overboard: 80% (-3)

Bad Samaritan: 73% (-5)

Tully: 63% (-4)

Tully will probably be rotten by the evening. Bad Samaritan could be too with the low amount of votes

Yikes is Tully getting a C or worse cinema score

If it really is a drama with comic elements instead of an out and out comedy (which h is what it was sold as) that might be a factor. Bait and Switch..trying to sell a movie as something it's not...always backfires. Even if a film is good, if it's not the kind of film you were led to expect to see most people have negative reactions.

Well I'm seeing it in a few hours but I loved Young Adult so I think I'll like this.

I can see advertising a disturbingly realistic exploration of postnatal depression as a fun movie for moms not going over well.
