I got mocked, ridiculed, bullied and attacked online like literally never happened to me just for sharing [mention=39221]Charlie Jatinder[/mention] numbers and believing that Endgame would end up becoming the highest grossing film of all time.  
 
It's Saturday and EVERY FUCKING THING is going my way, and the night has just started. Marvel Studios SDCC panel was golden and Iam happy not only that a film that I love so much is getting the accolades it deserves, but most of all that I am part of a box office online community since 2012 that taught me literally everything I know about box office.

Endgame's position at the top is absolutely deserved. Sticking the landing after a beloved series of films or television seasons is one of the most difficult tasks for the creative minds behind them. After Infinity War, hype and expectations were through the roof and disappointment from the final film in the series was always a likely scenario. The fact that Endgame managed to somehow surpass all expectations and close the book on the Infinity Saga in such a wholesome and satisfying way is nothing short of a miracle.

The question isn't whether it is gonna surpass Avatar, but when. Looking at the current trend, the prediction of overtaking Avatar by Memorial weekend is far too optimistic, and the earliest it could get there seems to be 1st weekend of June. It may take another couple of weeks to get there if drops are not as good as hoped, but it will get there for sure.

Took a bit longer than expected, but Disney was never gonna let it fall short after coming so close....

Yes . Japan has re release in August I think. Also some other territories so it can get there eventually

I don't think Japan is getting it, at least not anytime soon. Corpse mentioned the summer schedule is way too crowded for Disney to secure screens for Endgame.

So begins the era of sequels dominating the Top. Though since it had to happen, I'm glad Endgame is the first one to do so. This is not just a win for Endgame but it is one for the entire MCU. Over 20 films with over $20 bllion WW, definitely the greatest cinematic achievement of all time.

Till Avengers 5 is certain. Only possible way it's going down before that is if Avatar re-release manage over $10mn.
