South Korea re-release could also do it, although piracy is more rampant there.

I was wondering how will the A:EG and Avatar adjusted for PPP.

 

for instance adjusted for PPP, India gross is $200mn, Mexico is $135mn, Brazil $114mn, UK 108mn while China is $1.306 Billion.

It like you can buy only 1 Burger for $10 in US but same Burger at $3 in India. So there is an index of general inflation in country to base i.e. US.

 

So when Disney India earn $25mn in India (the share from $63mn), it can use that $25mn in India as to ~$70mn in USA.

MCU for the year has surpassed $5B WW!!!!! Second only to Disney for the year!!!! A sub studio is number 2 for the year and it's not really close either.

If you took MCUs B.O. away from Disney it would be #1 and not even close (so far -  Disney would catch up with Frozen and SW)

Splitting MCU and Disney, MCU was the top studio of 2018 DOM and WW for a loooooonnnng time, until October or something iirc. Could last into November DOM and December WW this year. So that’s something like 18/24 months that they’ve led other studios/Disney-MCU 😮

Basically if they moved up to 4 films in a calendar year they be #1 .  A  mid October to early November offering would have nicely filled out their year.    If they weren't a part of Disney they could even claim Thanksgiving or Christmas.

I won't get too excited about that as last two had their once in decade or two films.

 

Which they won't have usually. So a 4 films will mean basically 4 solos they had in two years, or may be bit lower, giving $435mn per film Domestically (thanks to BP) and $mn worldwide. Great, but not enough to take on Disney, will be #2 easily though, in most years, now that they can use Fox heroes as well.

1 X-Men film (say DP 2)

1 Spider-man film (say Verse)

 

We still got 1850 Domestically, that's with all 4 of them having their best numbers yet.
