Avengers Endgame is the biggest hit of 2019 and a HISTORIC Blockbuster and is the 8th ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER from Hollywood. The first was Jurassic Park in 1994 and recent years have seen quite a few as business for big Hollywood releases has grown. The eight historic BLOCKBUSTERS from Hollywood are as follows.

It is also yet to cross Titanic also which has 1.83 crore footfalls but that should be covered by the end of the week and The Jungle Book should be crossed in week three. The footfalls of Infinity War which were 1.74 crore have been beaten.

 

By the end of its run the three biggest Hollywood films in India of all time will be Endgame, The Jungle Book and Titanic.

2. Widest release - 521 screens. Previous record holder: IW - 437 screens.

 

Fastest to 500k admissions though still held by DMtnT - 522k admissions in 4 days against 518k of EG. And it was achieved with 427 screens, so DMtnT is still most frontloaded feature in Ukraine.

 

By the end of the 5th may EG had 1.13M admissions (5th overall in modern Ukraine history). Avatar's overall - 1.54M. No strong competitors before Aladdin's premiere. Usually heavy-frontloaded movies take about 70-75% of their overall admissions by the end of the second weekend, so EG has quite good chances to overtake Avatar.

Why not? Already at around 2.3B without Thursday.

Weekend: 60~70m Dom, 85m+ OS.

2.45B is a likely a lock. Unless Pika somehow breaks everything.
