How much would EG have done with avatar ER?

Well, Ignoring Inflation rough Estimates of few countries would be:

India would be at 91m +30m (48Rs vs. 69 Rs)

Argentina would be better by 8 or 9 times.... current is 21m = +150m

You can double Brazil's 85m. +90m or more

Increase Europe haul of 350m by 12% to 390m approx. +50m or more

Well, there are lot more countries but roughly it would have crossed 3B WW.

The big question isn't whether Avatar keeps or loses #1. the big question is can Jim get 3 billie? He was the first to break 1 billie and first to break 2 billie. I pegged EG to break 3 billie but that didn't happen (WHY?????????? WWW? Record OW. Record China. The heck?). so who will break 3 billie? with 2 movies finishing in 2.7 billie range (Avatar and EG), 3 billie is around the corner. believe!

Avatar (original) will be the first to 3 billie, quote me

What if Avatar is the first to break 3B (through re-release) and the next goal for Avatar 2 is actually 4 Billion :insane:

@IronJimbo fyi, Endgame admissions across world are much higher than Avatar. Much higher.

China + India + Mexico + Brazil + NA + Korea + Europe (Approx) ~ 320mn ($2350mn) (+$400-450mn more i.e. 65mn+ I guess)

That's par what Avatar did in Europe + China + NA + Brazil + Mexico + India + Korea~ 226mn ($2250mn) (+$530mn more i.e. 65-85mn more)

This gives 385mn+ for Endgame and 290-310mn for Avatar. Infinity War will be around 280mn Approx. 😏

Thanks Charlie. Still less impressive than Avatar though (an original movie released in a time of sequels).

I mean it made 630 in China despite performing much worse than Avatar (tripled highest grossing film in China)

Sit down step back get lost

Avatar was also in the fycking theaters for like a year with inflated 3D. So Endgame is much more impressive than shitty Avatar.

You can leave Endgame in theater for a year and see how much more it makes. You're parading a YouTube comment section level narrative on a box office fanatic website.

Having experienced both runs, I don't think there's really any comparison in terms of what was the more impressive global accomplishment. Avatar was a beast in pretty much every market, tripled the previous record in China, and broke $100m in 9 different markets. Titanic kind of blows both of them away, however.
