I think the sign has been more and more clearer that EG will pass Titanic. The only way to stop that now is the film being badly received by fans.

 

So, Titanic stays on number 2 for about 9 years and 3 months. 

LOTR 3 stayed as number 2 for 6 years while HP1 and SW1 stayed on number 2 for 2 years+ each.

I did some math yesterday. For now, I'm predicting 5,2m USD OW for Chile and over 700k admissions.  But is very dependent on how much showtimes it has for Friday-Sunday. Will know on Wednesday probably.

That would be a 15% increase in USD over Infinity War, which would be a great start.

Labor Day holiday is Wednesday this year. Marvel must have the Top 5 records lock down for biggest Labor Day gross WW (if such thing exist).

 

IW pulled in $62.5M for May 1st last year, without China and Russia. It’s gonna be real bonkers to see Endgame number for Labor Day this year as it’ll be the first time MCU has China on its side for this big holiday (also gonna have Russia’s 2nd day, which will help boost it even more).

IW was one of the biggest or biggest comic book movie in many European Markets in dollar.

Things could always change in the next 4 weeks (in particular Brazil’s ER is pretty volatile for political reasons, and the U.K. could have a big political event in the next 4 weeks) but at these rates an increase of 20% lc in every market would only be +14% or so in USD.

T-one day update:  

UK, SK, Brazil, Euro, India, Japan a tad worse

Mexico, Aus, Russia, Indonesia a tad better    

 

No big change, was about 2% difference or less from the quoted post in all territories. -5% from IW rates looks like it’s still the case.

If my math is right only presales for EG's previews day should bring about 90k and I'm hoping for strong walk-ins because of the discount day, especially in tier 2 and 3 cities.

To sum up: 24th of April (previews): starts at 4:30 pm (IMAX double screening) with at least 550 (maybe 600) shows that day

Numbers: 90k presales + 20k walk-ins (because of lack of new seats - saturation is already very high in polish standards)
