What was the issue with Thailand?

Thailand actual is $4.8mn but studio only report gross of Bangkok and one another city.

This happen when you sell territory on hire. Basically distributor will pay amount for some regions in lump sump and they aren't reported. That's my understanding.

I wouldn't put too much stock in the exact number, tomorrow it'll say "110m Thursday for a total of 285 overseas in 2 days", even though that doesn't add up with today's reported number.  Basically none of the overseas numbers are exact, but the closest ones to exact are the weekend actuals as reported on Monday.

That's right

But now things are changing with 2 Biggest Cinema Chains (with online ticketing system) monopolize the market, small cinemas are ripped out. That's why we start to get the nationwide number (just last year we first see this number)

And imagine this, 10 years ago Bangkok+Chiang Mai represent 70% of total screens in the country, 5 years later 60% and now, it represent only 50% of the market. Bangkok already packed with shopping malls with cinema, so they expand to provinces instead in recent years.

2017>2018: 88 new screens are added, 24 in Bangkok and 64 in other provinces

Let's come back to end game

End Game OD THB 75.32 m [BKK+CM]

is

- The biggest opening day

- The biggest non-holiday opening day

- The biggest single day

- The biggest Wednesday

Previous records belong to Infinity War (THB 54.88 m)

In GREECE, it sold 78,261 admissions on its opening day. Historical data are incomplete but it is definitely among the Top 3 opening days of all time (the other two being '300' and 'Troy'). It may even be an all-time record! INCONCEIVABLE.

In lc it sure looks that way. Maybe there’s a possibility to decrease in USD some places due to unfortunate exchange rates. @salvador-232, any insight?

Venezuela because obvious reasons.

Argentina currency is worth less than half than last year, and with the economic crisis I can't see anything else than a decline.

Turkey currency also has been devaluated by 43% in the last year, but I don't know the market, maybe it can overtake that ( I don't think so but maybe?)
