BIGGEST THEATER DROPS
Wide Releases That Lost the Most Theaters in Their Third Weekends

Most of the time, theaters are obligated to show a movie for two weeks. What they do when that time's up speaks to a picture's traction in the marketplace.

Note: This chart only shows the 200 largest drops regardless of sorting.

Wow. Live By Night doesn't deserve to be among these. It wasn't that bad.

There's definitely a few movies that deserved better on that list. I think Hardcore Henry deserved better as it was an interesting premise and a pretty fun film. MacGruber is fantastic, such a great stupid comedy.

Holy shit, I just saw this.

Guessed the twist pretty early on, long before the reveal.

It was not good. I was able to be entertained, but wow, what a disaster.

I'm still grinning and laughing about it half an hour later.

But I cannot recommend it to anyone. Quite simply, the movie is not good, the twist is not good, the execution is not good, and the very ending is not good. I guess it's filmed beautifully.
