Y'all should know how it works by now but the full list of nominations you need to fill in as a reminder: Best Picture Best Animated Feature Best Director Best Ensemble Best Actor Best Actress Best Supporting Actor Best Supporting Actress Best Voice Actor/Actress in a Leading Role Best Voice Actor/Actress in a Supporting Role Best Original Screenplay Best Adapted Screenplay Best Original Score Best Original Song Best Cinematography Best Film Editing Best Art Direction Best Costumes Best Makeup Best Sound Mixing Best Sound Editing Best Visual Effects Best Use of Action But because there were only three documentaries made this year, here are the nominees for Best Documentary Feature by default: Spoiler From Earth to Infinity: An Odyssey Through Space Penguins Under the Sea So congratulations to those nominated for doing the bare minimum. ANYWHOOOO To make it easier for both you and me, I'm laying down some ground rules when it comes to submitting ballots: The films you pick for every category must be listed in alphabetical order - Like I said, it'd be easier for the both of us. The lone exceptions to rule #1 are actor/director/composer categories, where you must list them alphabetically by last name. On that note, the composer for the movie you submit for Best Original Score MUST be listed. This is not required when submitting for Best Original Song. For Original Song, I need the name OF the song. When you send your picks, send them under the subject "Oscar Picks (player)". Make sure you remember to put your name in the subject header so I can find your list more easily. I will not start compiling your ballot until you've checked off all five boxes. This isn't a requirement per se, but if you adhere to each player's FYC picks that'd be most helpful. There is no deadline on submitting the ballots (as of now) but if you submit in a timely fashion that'd be most appreciated. Start sending in your ballots today!
