Also, while I’m just sitting here on my phone, there’s a movie that just barely missed the list that shocked me.  It’s very popular on these forums and in the past has finished fairly close to 1st (much closer to 1st than 100)

Just want to plant that seed

Please be Interstellar. The amount of respect it receives for such a mediocre movie is more mind-boggling than the decisions made by the characters in the film.

Interstellar didn't make the list last time. (Unfortunately so in my opinion...) But I think you could be on the right track in saying it's a Nolan film that starts with the letters "In-"

I will lmao if it's 12 Angry Men

I like 12AM but I always thought it was kind of a random-ass classic black-and-white drama to finish so close to the top among all the fanboy favorites. Do you all just get it shown in schools or something.

Maybe I jinxed it because I only saw it for the first time last year and put it on my list :ohmygod:

I think it's a deserving and great film but also wondered why it consistently ranks so high among a group dominated by young males who's taste tend not to skew toward 1950s classics.  It has to be a school thing.  Otherwise why not Judgement at Nuremberg, Inherit The Wind or To Kill A Mockingbird?

I haven’t seen the other two but I think TKAM is decent, not great.
