I don't think it's a big concern. If Sony delays Spidey to next year they can just bump this to December or late November if they really need to. I think Shang-Chi will do strong enough to justify it.

 

Especially if they can manage a China release.

It was a great showcase for Frances and a character study, but it’s not the most entertaining film in the world. I wouldn’t ever watch it again.
