With more days passed and more news about its development, this movie has firmly cemented itself as my most anticipated Phase 4 movie. (Sorry Taika)
 

Now that the OG Avengers is done, and second grade Avengers will never be able to measure up, Imma need a new team to stan. Hopefully The Eternals is that team. 
 

I too echo the desire to see an MCU movie being released during holiday season. But  I’m also fine with the current date too, get to see it sooner, so can’t complaint.

And FYI - As much as I love Long Shot, O'Shea's character is the quintessential Uncle Tom (voting for the party that actively tries to suppress minority votes across the entire country) and was shoehorned in to the film to appease any Republicans that happened to wander in to screenings of the film.

Actually in perfect world, there should be no need to be offended by homosexuality. 

It's just love in the end. 

And if Marvel wants to show homosexual couple then hats off them. 

MCU is a big brand and good depiction of Gay couple may help in some recognition. They are not monsters, they are just like me and you.

Also yea Dune is probably gonna underperform but im hopeful. Eternals has a fun cast, marvel brand(at this point virtually unstoppable right..?) behind it. Trailers should bring the hype soon enough.

It's scary how some CBM fans seem to hate any  non CBM movie that comes along.

I also think a lot of them only know Dune though the David Lynch film, which, without getting into a debate over it's flaws and virtues, is not very acessable to an audience unfamiliar with the novel and has the usual quota of Lynch bizarrness, which works well with some films ("Blue Velvet" "Mulholland Drive") but is really out of place for "Dune".

Things We Know:

 

The Eternals will feature Marvel’s first openly gay superhero. He will be married. We have yet to confirm which male Eternal that will be. These are all facts. 
 

There is also no need for further discussion on this until we have more information. Once we get some official set pictures or a trailer, we can pick this back up. Until then: we are done. I have Mjolnir in my hands. I am not afraid to use it.

Nah, mostly the fact DV hasn’t made a film over $300M WW, and his films don’t seem the most accessible for the GA.
