I was surprised too. We had afternoon sellouts here for it.  Then again, it held about 5% better than last week, so the number makes sense.

I honestly don't understand the IW number. It was really busy at my theatre yesterday.

Doesn't really matter though. The weekend number is for Infinity War have been absolutely staggering. This weekend coming up will be no different.

It just fell 52% against another comic book movie. That's a great hold. 680-700 is possible.

2.6 monday for IW is 43.5% drop from previous monday ... how is that bad? It's the best monday hold for IW so far ...  

 

I really don't understand haters. They can hate when numbers goes objectively bad, but... this?

I'm gonna need to see how the holdovers fell before I consider the drop for IW "bad." Either way IW is going to make money this weekend with another strong hold. So today could be "bad" but it's going to recover regardless.
