Looking like 14-15M Thu previews for FK base on my local theaters presales in comparison with Solo/DP2/I2.

Let’s see how things shape up.

14-15m would be okay, it’ll really depend on how frontloaded this one is compared to the first.

In the "it's better than nothing" category of news, my local Regal has added a 5th show for Jurassic World tonight at 9pm.  Now, it's only a 50 seater, so don't get your hopes up.

This theater was my predictor that Solo was going low...and if JW continues to not get seats here, I'll be saying JW will also be going low...although I'm not sure what people would now actually consider low b/c we've had some really low guesstimates for the weekend...

If JW does as bad as some think I’m guessing the early release overseas release date and the movie likely being online for two weeks might have something to do with it. Doesn’t make much sense for a sequel to a leggy monster to drop so badly

Or Jurassic World was just a total anomaly. It largely banked on everyone's nostalgia for the original film (which was never going to apply to this).

7:15pm IMAX 3D showing at AMC Empire starting in 3 minutes is not remotely full.

So what? General audience (main target of JW) don't care about IMAX.

JP1 broke the OW record. JP2 broke the OW record.

JW broke the OW record.

JW2 will break the OW record. Just wait for the WALK-UPS.

Let’s see, current record is $257.7M, JW will get there for sure, but I don’t think it counts as breaking the OW record if it takes 10-20 days to pass the mark. Just a hunch.
