Box Office Theory's Top 50 Horror Movies (2018): Details and Submissions

Alright. Can I submit a smaller list though? I have not seen 50 horror movies worthy of being in such a list.

This is exactly how I feel about the animated list, I would only be able to think of 2 or 3 animated films I really like

Before people start posting their top 50 lists of movies again, here's the list of 12 movies that will be playing at this year's Shock-Around-The-Clock:

From Dusk Till Dawn

In the Mouth of Madness  --  (John Carpenter!)

Deep Red  --  (Argento!)

Lost Highway  --  (David Lynch)

Hagazussa: A Heathen's Curse  --  (trailer) (looks like a slow burn, perhaps a bit like The Witch?)

Luz  --  (trailer

Crystal Eyes  --  (trailer - click the cc button for english)

The Innocents

Pumpkinhead

Terror Train

Night of the Demons

Scream For Help

Okay guys, you missed another great time!

Just want to comment quickly: I had never seen Scream For Help before. Holy shit, the audience ate that type of 80's corniness up! We loved it. All you guys on here who like stuff like that, check it the hell out!

I also hadn't seen Night of the Demons before. Another winner. Much more stereotypical than Scream For Help, but it hit on all the right buttons.

Mandy's not eligible as it's too recent. Want something else to fill in the list?

Also, if I submit a list, will I be the only person listing Deathgasm?

And I damn well better not be the only person listing Near Dark.

It's in my top 25.

Deliverance is considered horror?   If so it would have been near the top of my list.  Also forgot about The Others & Interview With A Vampire.  Oh well.

I forgot all about Deliverance! I'll make sure it's on my list.

I watched The Fly (1986) and Halloween II (1981) both good films, not the best in the genre though, I have time for one more before the deadline. I was thinking the Blair Witch Project. good choice?

Is The Six Sense considered horror? that would easily be on my list if it is. as would Signs... not sure if that would be either though.

And what about Se7en? it was certinaly one of the scariest films I've ever seen.
