Box Office Theory's Top 50 Horror Movies (2018): Details and Submissions

any way to get a list of all the horror films released from 1970 to 2005?  This includes classic franchises that had sequels DTV.

After then, it seems horror really took off on the DTV market and catching up on all the horror films in existence from then on would probably be impossible.

The Terminator has horror elements, but I wouldn't call it a horror movie. I'm not opposed to it being eligible though; what does everyone else think?

As far as Stalker....... no. It's a very grimy film, but in no way is it horror.

I regard the entire meat grinder sequence as one of the most horrifying scenes in cinematic history. I can guess it's more suspense though.

Happy to revise my list if certain films are not eligible!

How about if we don't leave this up to personal opinion but go with what WOH  said at the beginning. It has to be listed as horror somewhere.

Fair enough, I think there is a compelling argument that The Terminator should be included as horror if we can also include Godzilla, but I'll make changes accordingly.

It's not my call. I was just giving my opinion.

Everyone’s doing a list!  Wow!  My top 100 list really started a revival

It's great but there are too many to keep track of.  I need a pinned post of all the lists with applicable links and end dates.

Edit: Did it and added some recent completed lists (hard to find them even with the search function. The last Animation list didn't show up)

I personally cant stand The Strangers. Im all for suspension of disbelief, but the people in that film are just too stupid and make that film an unintentional comedy for me personally. But thats why making lists is so much fun: You always get to see (sometimes vastly) different viewpoints.

This a million times. The Strangers is one of the dumbest movies I've ever seen.
