So, which actresses will be pushed for an Oscar nom for this movie?

Ronan feels like a given. Pugh will probably get some notices too, especially since she's having a banner year, and is looking to breakout (her next project is Black Widow)

Laura Dern has a great shot. She has been on the up and up starring in The Last Jedi and Big Little Lies. She is a candidate for Best Supporting Actress.

Never read the books but I always had the impression that Meg had the meatiest role off the sisters, save the leading sister.

Absolutely not. Meg has always been as dull as dishwater. Her most interesting arc in the book is about making jam. That's why Emma Stone passed on this, she's obviously way too famous to be playing such a boring character.

This. Emma Stone dropping the role last minute because she would be "too busy" with promoting The Favourite during award season, is all you need to know about how "challenging" Meg is as a character. What kind of BS...Chalamet is in the movie but still did a bunch of Q&As/appearances for Beautiful Boy and just missed out on an Oscar nomination. Brie Larson was filming Kong: Skull Island on a whole other continent between picking up all those Best Actress trophies for Room. LW has a huge legacy and this is a very prestigious project. But, Stone/her team probably took a hard look at all the extra back and forth it would take, bouncing between promo for The Favourite and filming Little Women, and decided that it wasn't worth it just to play Meg while right next to Saoirse Ronan in a way better role.

It's soon. They have to have this ready now. Angry Birds is Tuesday. This drops tomorrow. I've been starved for some quality Chalamet content. I'm ready.

Watch them hold it until next week so you have to pay and see Angry Birds Movie 2.
