I wonder if all future DC animation projects could go to DCU rather than Cartoon Network with a couple of exceptions.

They may not even show the trailer only footage is congirmed to be shown at the panel.

Venom, Bumblebee, Cancelled James Gunn are this afternoon. I am in the next chute to go in. 

 

Just got got out of Castle Rock. AAAAH!!!  I love the LOOK of the show even if the pilot was kind of slow. The first three episodes drop on Hulu on July 25. Totally worth it.  It is an original story, and not like Once upon a Time where all the characters are popular steve king characters. It feels like all of the novels are going to be town history. (There was a shot in the trailer were all the old newspaper headlines are steve king stories.). 

 

That said, I was 100% convinced that Bill S is playing It, only not clown It.

MNS is very gracious to fans asking questions, and Yvette. SLJ and BW are acting quirky, so the crowd love that. SARAH IS BEAUTIFUL.

WE ARE OPENING WITH JUSTIFED FEMINIST ANGER. And we are done. Yvette called it Church. Jamie Lee Curtis made a Freaky Friday joke. I am LIVING. 

 

JLC talked about how she returned because the movie is about her character’s untreated PTSD and taking back her narrative.  YAAAS KWEEEN. 

 

David Gordon Green talks about how he pitched the movie to Carpenter at JC’s house. JC’s ringtone is the Halloween theme. jC’s doing the music. 

 

Yvette asked Jason Blum about how the film basically ignores the other movies and is a direct sequel to the first one. What happened 40 years later?  It also is closure to the original series, but hopefully will launch a new Halloween Series. 

 

Jamie Lee Curtis is just TO DIE FOR. 

 

Showed a scene and the trailer.  HOLY FUCK YES.  This thing looks A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I AM SO EXCITED. The tone is right. The look is right. The music is perfect. JLC uglied herself up and is murdering that screen left and right. Laurie is NOT fucking around. 

 

Aww!!  Some man told a story about how he was being attacked in his house, and he thought “What would Jamie Lee Curtis do?” and it saved his life. Nice moment. He got a hug from JLC. 

 

Two girls asked if the panelists still trick or treat. Jason Blum doesn’t cause he throws a Halloween party every year and dresses in drag. JLC doesn’t cause she is her own Halloween costume. 

 

Glass must be so excited they went first. This panel is Next Level. Just shows you how important it is to have dynamic personalities on your panel.

Starts with Stan Bush performing The Touch to footage. It was Fun! I love Hall H stunts!

 

They show a featurette on Travis Knight about how He Is The Right Man For The Job! And how we are going Back to The Beginning! This film IS NEW and haS HEART!!  It also feels YOUNG. It is a COMING OF AGE story. There are Spielberg references!!

 

We are REBRANDING, folks!!!

 

Travis Knight called the other Transformers movies two RadioShacks re-enacting the Kama Sutra.  Insert Latrice Royale: The Shade Of It All.

 

Knight feels like a serious guy who is taking his film crazy seriously. 

 

We ARE seeing Cyberton in the film. 

 

Okay. Haley just showed up. She is talking about how Charlie is looking for a NEW adventure and new life. 

 

CENA ENTERED TO THE BEASTIE BOYS AND NOT MY TIME IS NOW. WHAT A LIIIIIE. 

 

Agent Burns, aka Cennnnaaaa, is a “complicated man.”  LOL.

 

John Cena is 😍😍😍😍. It is so clear why WWE pays him millions. The audience is eating him up.

 

I feel bad for Jorge who is basically getting ignored. 

 

Peter Cullen showed up! Crowd geeked out!!

 

Anyway. They showed the footage and trailer. I don’t know what they are gonna show in the public version but Han is gonna die. The camera loves Haley. She looks great and is selling it. 

 

Movie looks sweet. Might be the sleeper hit of the Holiday. The fight sequences look clean, have a great fluidity. The movie also looks like it skews YOUNG.
