Its the Joaquin Phoenix one thats next year. 20 minutes ago, Blaze Heatnix said: That's probably a mistake by whoever wrote that article...This Joker movie is the one with Phoenix. I'm not sure if Leto is even returning to play Joker again. Isn't he Morbius now ? He's with Sony now. The Leto's Joker movie isn't happening, obviously. That Joker from Suicide Squad isn't Joker it's a mutant. 25 minutes ago, JB33 said: I know, I don't get it! So is the Joaquin Phoenix one just a random non-cannon movie from WB but not DC Films (a la Venom)? Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled at the prospect of a Joaquin Phoenix Joker movie! I just don't know what's going on here. Apparently, it was a typo...
WrathOfHan
http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=23655 Solo isn't coming out on Blu-Ray until the end of September. Disney is really going to attempt a Labor Day fudge, aren't they? 1

WrathOfHan
The funny this is I don't know how many movies will be able to re-expand this Labor Day. Searching, Kin, and Operation Finale are all going wide Labor Day weekend, and the prior weekend has The Happytime Murders, A.X.L., and presumably BlacKkKlansman's push into 2k+ theaters. Incredibles and JW might be the only movies able to get big expansions. Edited July 19, 2018 by WrathOfHan

LonePirate
With that $56K gross on Wednesday, Book Club now has a multiplier or 5.0037. It may pale to Jumanji and The Greatest Showman; but it is quite notable for a wide studio release during the summer season. Comedies and light drama adult-appealing films are where the big multipliers are nowadays. Ocean’s 8: 3.2148 Tag: 3.4796

grim22
What must the attendance difference between Tuesday and Wednesday look like? Cheap tickets and 40%+ falls means the attendance must be like 60-75% higher on Tuesday compared to Wednesday. That is almost opening weekend level attendance for movies on their first Tuesday. Kind of crazy how big a box office force Cheap Tuesdays have become.
