They did try to push it to gross 100 million, but it didn't work.

Domestic?  They've barely started in the push.   It's only been out 11 weeks.

The one week expansion was to take advantage of schools being out on Columbus Day and most theaters had one showing.  They'll run it with double bills with Nutcracker and then probably Wreck It Ralph and Mary Poppins.  They have months.

Wrinkle in Time didn't pass $100m until it's 16th w/e after several expansions and double bills with much larger films.   Cinderella didn't pass it's $200m milestone til it's 16th.   Sony's Passengers didn't pass $100m until it's 16th and SPECTRE didn't pass $200m until it's 20th

Will CR cross the $200M? So close!!

Total Lifetime Grosses
Domestic:  $98,677,443    51.9%
Foreign:  $91,304,308    48.1%

Worldwide:  $189,981,751

Current total

Total Lifetime Grosses
Domestic:  $98,719,355    52.0%
Foreign:  $91,304,308    48.0%

Worldwide:

 $190,023,663

Disney should push it past $100m domestic with double features (BP did this months after it came out on BR) and reportedly will do another $3.2m or so in Japan which means it probably needs about $5m from France to hit $200m WW.

Will Disney lose any money on this movie, if so do we have a estimate on how much?

No.  Budget was reportedly $70-75m.   The movie itself should be in the green -  it will have a long profitable life on  DVD and Disney TV & Streaming.

That of course doesn't count that it helps keep the brand alive and sell hundreds of millions (or billions) in merchandise a year.

Great to hear, thought the early est was that it would lose quite a bit of money. Happy to hear it didn't.
