Everyone at TIFF seemed to think Supporting. I think she could really make a run for it. She’s got a good campaign story/narrative akin to Sandra Bullock for the Blind Slide or Cher for Moonstruck. DAJK
If this and IT could both do 35+ this weekend that would be pretty exciting. Still only hoping for 25 and 35 respectively.

The Futurist
So I learned a bit more about this movie and sadly, it is exactly what I suspected it was. This is how sad, predictable & awful the situation have become. Hollywood, media, this is really where you are at ? Do you even realize how insane you all are and sound ? Self-awareness, self-reflection, no, anyone ? Hello ? I really wonder how far this current paradigm and shit show will lead us but it is not a nice view and hopefully, history will not be kind with this institutionalized, gkamorized rampant stupidity. Rom coms are dead ? No shit. Edited September 11, 2019 by The Futurist

PDC1987
^ Just wait. The bigger this film is the more it is going to trigger conservative heterosexual males. The online hatred, trolling and coordinated smear campaign might reach catastrophic levels by Sunday morning. 2

The same demographic might want to defend Joker from the groups speaking against it, while also spitting on that demographic's film Hustlers. It isn't right. They should simply see what they want to see and call it a day.

Like this is obvious from the online reaction to the film lol. Conservative heterosexual men generally don't like films with female protagonists, especially women of color, regardless of if thy are strippers. TBF it's about strippers who drug and steal from men like them.
The Futurist
I am proudly pressed as fuck by this movie. Half of BOT can have nervous breakdowns about comic book movies & the other half about their dear auteurs that understand the meaning of life. Always. Giggi
Wasn’t twitter angry at Cardi B just a couple months ago when it came out she use to drug and rob men when she worked as a stripper? Remember all those memes comparing her to R kelly and Bill Cosby? Now she is in a movie about strippers robbing men that is getting rave reviews... the world is too funny sometimes, I am starting to wonder if her publicist leaked those tapes of her admitting that in order to increase PR for the movie. Anyways this movie looks right up my alley, I’ll probably go see it this weekend. My guess it will make a healthy 25-30 millions this weekend. Women will definitely want to see it because if the girl power aspect and since it’s a stripper movie with attractive leads that could help drawn in male audiences.
