ThePhasmid
The original was a thick black comedy that had very local humor. This looks like a slick update focused on the persona of Liam Neeson, and I have no qualms about it. Same plot with a different approach. It appears to have enough of its own identity to entice someone who enjoyed (or even heard of) the original.

If you see a high profile thriller set in a wintry wonderland, the odds of it being a remake of a Norwegian thriller starring Stellan Skarsgard are pretty high. 😀

DAJK
Was already looking forward to this, but that tweet has be really excited now. And I've generally liked most of Neeson's "old dude murders everyone" movies. February is looking pretty exciting, with this and Dragon hinting at pretty good quality, LEGO coming off a beloved predecessor, and Alita/What Men Want/Happy Death Day having potential. TMP
When I saw the trailer to this, I thought it'd just be non-stop 2.0, not a dark comedy in the vein of In Bruges. Definitely gonna check it out, especially if Ehrlich likes it
grim22
Looks like the reviews are pretty good so far. Might be a good Neeson action vehicle after a while.

A while? It hasn't been that long since The Commuter came out. I've been riding that Commuter train since day 1. 1
