Had a 12m+ weekend last time now just 5m? 58% drop as such seems understandable as Grinch opened but SF is running in many more markets. Probably Grinch hit it in it's strongest ones.

Around 2m more dom and 9m more os will take it to 215m ww, just under 2.7x it's prod budget.

Many things: Last weekend was a holiday in most of the world (All Saint's Day), so the holds were inflated. Besides, a lot of its gross was from markets that are very frontloaded but where it was being abnormally leggy, like Russia and China, however, its overall gross wasn't that big so it was very vulnerable to screen loses to virtually anything. I assume that's what's happened along with The Grinch opening in the UK.
