Posted August 26, 2018 Share Posted August 26, 2018 (edited) I saw it in the old CAYOM thread and thought it look neat: Spark: Homeward: An IMAX 3D Experience Friday, May 4th 7:00 PM 100% full It was a pretty varied audience. Everyone from all ages were there: families, teens/young adults, adults and even some seniors. Trailers Kim Possible - some laughs from the family section of the crowd. Teens were also interested. Call Of Duty - A bit of chatter Howling Commandos - A decent amount of chatter. The Odyssey: Council Of The Dead - Silence but cheers at the end of the trailer. The Scavenger Wars - Lots of chatter and a few laughs from T-Bot. The audience dug it, it’ll be big. Notes From The Otherspace - Lots of intrigued feelings. People were interested to say the least. Prince Of Egypt - Lots of chatter. Cheers where head whenever a bit of music was played. The movie although wasn’t as good as the first but the audiences loved it. Also a few clusters of families and kids. A group of 25+ year old men are also there. Trailers Ta2ed Teenage Alien Fighters From Beverly Hills - Lots of laughs Crash Bandicoot - some laughs, some cheers (due to some of the gaming crowd recognition) Sitting Ducks - some laughs Treasure Planet - mild chatter Voltron: Rise Of Lotor - chatter, laughs at Lance, lots of oohs and aahs. Flawless reception, crowd love it Call of Duty - audience loved the teaser, cheers at the end The audience as expected ate it up. The fans loved it as did I. Cheers at various Gym Leaders and battles. Voltron: Rise Of Lotor Friday, December 21st, Y2 11:15 AM 85% full Audiences is mainly male skewed, some families are here as well as some young women as well some seniors in the crowd as well. Trailers Earth Defense Force - a little bit of chatter God of War - chatter, some thought it was cheesy fun Cataclysmic - mild chatter but audiences were intrigued He Man II: Skeletor’s Revenge - mild chatter, some love for Hemsworth’s Buzz Off The Odyssey: Council Of The Dead - lots of chatter Spark: Homeward - lots of chatter, some laughs at the end The Scavenger Wars - lots of chatter, audiences were definitely curious about the film The audience loved the movie, lots of cheers and laughs and a bit of crying at Spoiler Keith’s death and funeral. Trailers Mermaid - mild chatter Samurai Pizza Cats - small laughs Crash Bandicoot - chatter and some laughs Peter and The Starcatchers - silence, a teen snickered it looks awful To The Moon - chatter, some sniffles from he adults Sitting Ducks - laughs and chatter Chessmen - Silence, did not look the best The whole audience was laughing the whole damn movie and I don’t blame them, the movie is that funny. Trailers: The Number One Dime - applause and tons of chatter Baseball Boy: Swing For The Fences - mild chatter Can You Imagine? - chatter Our City: Growth - chatter, lots of laughs American Dragon: Darkness Rising - chatter, lots of oohs and aahs at action pieces Amulet II: The Last Council - applause and tons of chatter The Second Crash Bandicoot - chatters, laughs at the end The audience loved it, especially the kids, (the teens laughed a bit at the drunk scene), think it’ll play well during the holidays. Ezen Baklattan Posted September 25, 2018 Share Posted September 25, 2018 The Scavenger Wars: An IMAX 3D Experience July 18th 7:00pm 85% full The audience skewed a bit older with less families than, say, Spark or Voltron, but it was still a pretty diverse crowd. Mostly seemed to be between the age of 21-35 with a fairly even split of gender. Indigenous - Mostly silence, some "WTF"s at the end. The Chrysalids - some excited chatter and a few gasps Wolves of the Deep - some interest, but BIG reactions when Neeson shot himself out of the submarine. Gamera - Some silence, but it was cool to see the trailer in IMAX. The Prince of Egypt - Some interested chatter, one person even humming along with "When You Believe." Mirror's Edge: Catalyst - A new trailer, with some interest. The Number-One Dime - Quite a few laughs, despite being an older audience. The audience seemed fully invested for the entire runtime, which is no easy feat. Some of the jokes fell a bit flat, but were mostly met with lots of laughter. Quite a few gasps, especially with the red hot bar scene with Packer, and applause at the end. Should be a film that sticks around for a while. --- Peter and the Starcarcher December 27th 3:45m 40% full The audience was mostly families, but a few groups of adults in there. One group of teens in the back, but it seems to be not a super big crowd. My Peoples - A few laughs and quite some intrigue overall Lilo & Stitch - Quite a few laughs, audience seemed invested Redeeming Love - A few horrified reactions, parents screaming and covering childrens' eyes. Finding Gobi - Not much of a reaction, but a good pallate cleanser. RuPaul's Best Friend Race - not....much of a reaction. Dan the Alpaca - a few muted chuckles, but not too much else. The audience was completely confused by the film's climax, which seems to come literally the fuck out of nowhere. It just kind of....ended. Mainly adults, groups of teen and a few families. Trailers: Pokémon: The Journey Begins - lots of chatter, audience are very hyped and invested Treasure Planet - decent amounts of chatter, interest is their Ta2ed Teenage Alien Fighters From Beverly Hills - Lots of laughs from the audience especially at Bob Bob Storm Hunters - some chatter, some thought it looked cool Conductive - muted chatter, not much interest Voltron: Rise Of Lotor - tons of applause and chatter Earth Defense Force - chatter The movie was very good, and the audience loved it, following the appropriate moments in the movie. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Trailers: Gentle Ben - silence Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive - Lots of laughs, mild chatter The Number One Dime - lots of laughs and chatter Miraculous - a few chuckles, a few teens dug it SWAT Kats: The Viper Strikes - lots of laughs, primarily the children were all laughing it up, mild chatter Can You Imagine? - lots of chatter and laughs, the audience was clearly engaged Halloweentown - Mild laughs Hope-Fear-Adventure - silence Although some of the families didn’t particularly love the darker moments, the audience specifically the women and adults dug it. Trailers: One Piece: The Journey Begins - some intrigue, mild laughs and chatter Can You Imagine? - Quite a lot of laughs, audience seems very invested Our City: Growth - A few laughs from the younger children but otherwise dead silence American Dragon: Darkness Rising - Scattered oohs and aahs as well as laughs, could potentially breakout The Second Crash Bandicoot - new trailer, audience laughed a little bit but unlike the first, the children found it more appealing and provided the majority Mass Effect - Lots of chatter and intrigue, audience was most responsive to this Pillars of Eternity: The Hollow Vale - Lots of intrigue but the trailer wasn’t suited for the younger audience Audience (as did I) throughly enjoyed it more than the predecessor.
