The QOTW and Week 1 questions threads will slam shut in two hours, but I am working on a more lenient plan with the preseasons to allow more people to enter but also reward those that were on time.

Ok, here is what I am going to do. The weekly questions and QOTW will lock at the usual time of about 30 minutes from now. 

 

As for everything else. They will be left open until Monday evening at midnight. Everyone is allowed to edit or enter as they please until then.

 

To reward those that entered everything within the time limit, Question 20 (the one that is automatic points) of the Week 1 weeklies will be worth 25k instead of 5k to boost the bonus of those that were able to keep to the deadline. 

 

Players are free to edit their preseasons over the weekend and will not lose their week 1 scores.

I should add that regarding Bohemian Rhapsody and anything else release this weekend gone,

 

If you have it in your preseasons, you cannot change it (and only it). If you create brand new preseasons, you can get points for the correct position on a list, but you cannot score gross accuracy bonus points as well, otherwise we can all put the perfect answer in on Monday and just hope it stays in the top 7.

ah shit wish I read this before I edited it. Good thing you can see my edit history (I had DOM at 170M and the OW at 45M I *think*). Is the multi off limits as well? I had it somewhere between 3.72x and 3.9x before I edited it.

Well multipliers only has position based scoring so that doesn't matter. Feel free to change the DOm and OW back to 170 and 45

The downside is that someone newly submitting a list is perfectly free to put down a perfect score for Bohemian. You’re actually penalizing the folks who got their lists in on time.

Not really. There could be 7 films which produce a bigger weekend.   Remember u get 0 for gross unless u answered before the weekend. 

 

Still a lot of assumptions / predictions for position. Only the gross is known but they get nothing for that.
