Venom will definitely hit $200M even if Sony has to fudge it past the mark. The biggest opener that failed to cross $200M was 2007's The Simpsons Movie with $74M.

This is false, both 50 Shades of Grey and X-Men Origins Wolverine opened to $85m and failed to cross $200m. If Venom passes $190m then they'll probably fudge it to 200, but it could still make less than that.

If it stalls around $190m it would be really hard to get another $10m - especially with their remaining slate and this being and Oct release

Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween Sony / Columbia 10/12/18
The Front Runner Sony / Columbia 11/6/18
The Girl in the Spider's Web: A New Dragon Tattoo Story Sony / Columbia 11/9/18
Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Sony / Columbia 12/14/18
Holmes & Watson Sony / Columbia 12/21/18

Look how hard they had to work with SPECTRE for just another $2m+ post New Years

Can you believe Sony doesn't have a ton of live action Spidey-verse movies filming yet?

How long will it take them? Will they announce Morbius on Monday, Kraven on Tuesday, Black Cat on Wednesday, and then Venom 2 on Thursday? Or will they just announce them all at once?

Will Sony be able to restrain themselves and just announce Venom 2, or will they dump half a dozen on us?

That said, who do you want to see? How about a live action Spidey Noir? Or Spider-Gwen or Peni Parker? Do they have the full rights to Silk?

I'm telling ya, I'd totally be down with live action Spidey Noir.

Make the movie in the Venom post-credits scene...either as a stand-alone or as a vs Venom movie...seems as perfectly cast...

These 7 have already been announced as 'in development'. The list is:

Morbius (Jared Leto cast in lead role)

Nightwatch (rumored to be courting Spike Lee)

Silk (said to be a priority)

Black Cat (now her own solo movie instead of Silver and Black)

Silver Sable (same as above)

Jackpot (about a superheroine in her 40's)

Kraven

I want to say we also heard about Cardiac and Man-Wolf. Maybe.

The Man-Wolf thing seems like it was from a while ago, from back when Sony was just starting up the idea of a Spidey-Verse.

Really only in america that over 1.5 millions sales leaving probably over 2 million a year's in revenues with the tours mean you have to switch career, how will you feed yourself.

In 2018 it is hard to sell 5,000 albums in many market (that number is often enough to make the top 20 of the year)

Switching career or changing the career direction is not a bad thing either in this highly capitalistic and changing world, it only means that Gaga is more adaptive in this changing world.

Country albums tend to sell better since it appeals to middle America - so given that the album should have done better.

Lady Gaga does not appeal to middle America 😂😂. Have you heard “Born this Way”? She’s far too progressive for that lot.

So why is Venom breaking out everywhere, instead of flopping?

I thought it would literally bomb. didnt we all?

We knew it would have a massive opening, what we predicted were awful reviews and bad legs. Reviews are a given, we’ll see about the legs.
