Mulan was cool. I guess Godzilla was an ok movie that should have never been called Godzilla. Armaggedon is only barely above the Bayformer sequels. If you ask me, Bugs Life wins if only cause i seen the movie most on VHS.

Speaking of VHS, Scooby Doo on Zombie Island was the shit.

I'm gonna add that to my list of films that I should watch. I wasn't sure if it was something good even when it showed up early in the Google search list. But it really sounds interesting! I really liked The Truman Show so I'd probably like that.

Thanks for the recommendation, Dark City is great. Although it reminded me more of the Matrix than Truman.

Copied a list from another countdown thread to say that...

This list is still happening, and it's happening soon.

I'm extending the due date for lists from December 14th to December 17th, to make sure list-senders have a week's notice and a full weekend's worth of free time to send their lists to me.

Let's get this one going!

P.S.

Blade and The Big Lebowski are available on Netflix.

The General and Gods and Monsters are available on Netflix.

And I think Babe: Pig in the City and Rushmore are available on Hulu.

Oh, and I think Run Lola Run, which I'm allowing to be on the list, might be on Shudder.

That can provide people with a head start or some padding on their lists. I've never seen Big Lebowski so that's priority number one for me to watch.

So I did some more research on movies that are available to watch on streaming sites, for anyone who wants help finding movies to watch for the list.

  • 54,  Meet Joe Black, and The Negotiator are all on Netflix. Lebowski is still there; that's how I was able to see it.
  • Ever After and Pleasantville are on Hulu; both Rushmore and Babe 2 seem to have been taken off.
  • The movie Gods and Monsters is still on Amazon. The General is supposed to be there, but it's 'unavailable' for some reason.
  • The Mask of Zorro is available to watch for free on Crackle.
  • And you need an account to access the movie, but American History X is free to watch on Vudu.
  • Also, you can find almost any of the well-known movies on a site like Google Play.

So I think I'll be watching some movies for my list throughout the weekend; I've seen a total of 16 movies that I want to put on my list, so if I wanted to contribute a full list of 25 films, I'd have to watch 9 films; if I were to watch one more tonight (even though it's sort of late), that means I'd be watching two movies a day from Friday to Monday. I can always cut it to a twenty film list and watch one movie a day from today to Monday; I'm sure that'd be easier to handle, and easier to find time for.

We'll see. I can take solace in the fact that a lot of films are already easily accessible, so maybe I'll go for broke. I already finished with my finals so the only thing I have to lose is time.
