You don't know anything about IT, do you?  First of all, the film is being split in two.  Second, it feels to me that they were much more diligent in making sure the tone of IT was correct.  I have no idea why critics hate Dark Tower, but is it really a surprise?

i've never understood why anyone cared about the consensus but at least they're having fun with it now. it's usually pretty boilerplate depending on the movie being good or bad.

At my local theater I saw 3 middle age men coming out of the theater enthused and talking of the references to the books and one guy holding one of the books. Unfortunately for the movie they were the only 3 men at the screening ... Out of 100 seats

I'm going tomorrow night. The King fan in me is enough to see how bad it really is. I'm probably going to end up wishing I seen Detroit instead.
